So the shortened month worked against us as we literally almost missed out report! Nevertheless, here we are and it's time to talk some shop!
This report won't be super long as we mostly have discussions around music ongoing going into March. The big announcement is that we're going to be deciding in March on someone to handle part or all of the music for Father's Story.
Why part? Because we have been talking with Sean about returning to work on Father's Story. Much of this revolves around compensation and the amount of music we'll need. We're still quite interested in utilizing him for at least the main theme and we've got an investor that would like to cover it thanks to some inheritance they have coming in. However, given family involved, they are still a little tied up.
Given we want to launch the title this year, we cannot delay so we've been looking for other options to fill in. Some of them, are booked up or are taking a break from composing. Thankfully, we found a musician in Indonesia that is interested and we're going to be having some talks in March with them regarding this.
As we've worked with artists in SE Asia before, we're happy to find one as they aren't always promoted much in that part of the world. Part of our old Asia Unit's internship program was to see if we could elevate some and encourage them that there is work as artists and musicians.
Our primary goal is going to be to see about filling out the local town tracks, action tracks, and even some of the minor emotional ones while we give our investor some more time. Should that fall through, we'll be going full speed on utilizing this musician, or another, with wrapping up the Father's Story and pushing to launch.
